The Eclipse

This is a quick little thread to share any experiences or pictures relating to the eclipse earlier today.

Sadly I wasn't able to be within the path of totality so my pictures aren't that good.

I tried to take a picture through my eclipse glasses, but sadly my phone's photosensor couldn't make out the moon at all thanks to the sliver of sun that was visible. (And yes, I checked, it was actually seeing the light and not its own flash  )

I know this question was directed towards me but I am really into Astronomy, so if you have any questions about astronomy just ask me.

@Etherton a little. I suppose the fact that I run a spacebuild server is a bit of a give away for that.

Main reason I got the pics was because my university was handing out eclipse glasses for people to use just before it started.
