My latest creation

Last night I got through at least a draft of a new ship hull I have been working on.  I'm quite pleased that this has come together in about four days where most of my other ships have taken weeks (yes, just for the ship hull!). I think it may also be one of the biggest ships that I've built! 

Are any of you working on a new or improved ship?  I'd love to see what people are building!

Thank you!  I'll try to post more pictures tonight.  Some of the crew chairs are done and my Life Support is looking good.

Dang man, that looks cool!  You could go a step further(If you haven't already) and make the actual seats invisible, just for that extra bit of "Aesthetic".


I wish I could be on to see it but I'm currently stuck with shitternet.

In the crew chairs?   I think I may re-material the seats, but the fully white glowing seats seem a bit much.  You know me, this ship will probably be my work in progress for the year  8)

My double-transporter e2 that is currently in development, shown in the background.  I'm trying to get it to look and function like the Asgard Teleporter USE menu, shown in the foreground.

I would also like to be able to pick "Surface" on the destination list and have a way (Chair / Camera combo?) to manually point-and-click to a location below my ship.  So if you have a clever way that could make that work, I'd love to hear from you - thanks in advance!

You can get the center of a planet fairly easily actually. sbPlanets() should return an array of all of their positions. Find the closest, and add 1 player of height for safety and it should be good. As for choosing an exact spot on the planet, I'm not exactly sure.

Perhaps a ranger to get the vector of the point on the surface. If you color it black the beam is invisible.

I tested it and a ranger can be used to find a specific vector. Just make sure that the ranger's range is high enough and it should work.

I'm not very familiar with rangers - does it output the vector that it finds a target, or just the distance?


Perhaps you can show me when we are on the server.
