Reason: Abusing votekick by starting one after I used a drone to destroy his and Troll's station. He called it 'abuse' even though I was off of spawn. I was kicked. (Drone was cored)

Yeah that's technically votekick abuse, but for future record you should probably be inside your ship at all times during combat to prevent this, some people target the player and not the cores.

That kinda defeats the purpose of a drone, does it not?

Yes, however allowing it resulted in spawnkill which was then used to justify votekicking the people who they attacked in the first case and such nonsense so you have to actually be in your ship.
