Hey everyone, just wanted to let you guys know about this cheap little game I've found, Stars!. I think it deserves to be a little more known than it is. Maybe we can get enough people here to setup a game ourselves.
Stars! is a really old 4x game from 1995, but despite the age and terrible graphics I've been having a lot of fun with it. It seems to be well balanced and there's a lot of strategy involved. The race design is also quite interesting, there's a whole trait system that determines where you start in the tech tree, and can slightly change what you'll get out of certain research paths.
Game's real cheap, and given its age there's a premade DOSBox image for it. You can find info about getting it here (https://wiki.starsautohost.org/wiki/Get_Stars!).
