Development / Use of the "!warn" system

I've recently come to value the !warn system and I think its a solid way to adequately get rid of dumbasses. For example, yesterday, I warned a guy for colliding with my ship on earth, then I warned him for killing me from space while I was on earth, then he gave me attitude about it so I warned him for disrespect which resulted in a kick. Basically the first two warnings were for something he did on accident. I need to know if you @bloxgate want us to use !warn in cases where a player breaks a rule on accident. I've gotten a lot of shit from players for using it as such but I just need to know I'm in the right before I get a demote request. My opinion is that it should be used for accidents as well because we all know the server crashes more for idiots without a clue rather than a devious shithead. Also if you could reply to this with all your stipulations involving !warn, that would be great.

How I imagine this is the noclip "event" wont be an actual event. With the addition of all the extra shit on peoples ships, the servers is going to take a larger load which as we all know, makes for a really shitty experience. SO, I imagine this as being a usual thing so people can play without lag. Noclip will be needed on earth of course so people can build without a hindrance. What I want in this "event" is people fighting over planets and having to beam themselves down to take it over instead of noclipping in and capping the guy two seconds out of noclip. Or docking on space stations and using a "user tool key" to get in. Just shit like that i guess. I may be dreaming too big for what we can work with but I think we should try it.

Id like a weekend without no-clip. People will have to build real ships that need a hallway system, life support room, engine room, cockpit, and all the other shit you'll need in a real vessel. People will have to beam beam down a ring transporter to get things off planet and will have to be smart about fighting since they cant just fly away and heal right after.

Bert you have moved me. In light of your well written post, I would like to change my count to neutral as well. There has been an odd drop in player count recently and that includes the administration's attendance so I do want a great moderator with great playtime.


On the other hand, I might just be wishing for the best and not expecting the worse. Getting a great moderator with great playtime might be a long shot or it might be impossible given spacebuild's current poor ass player count.


I'll leave this to blox, if he wants you then I'll give my vote to you.

I had similar trouble with my old Tier 6 missile launchers (cant remember the exact type, I replaced them afterwards). Maybe provide pictures, it might help.

Something I have noticed on the server is the lack of idiots. There's less Randoms joining and acting like fuck ups. It may not all be bad that there is a shortage of players.

Just out of curiosity, can you guys design gates? I'm assuming you can, and if that assumption is correct then the idea I have is for wiring "core gates" input to entity output on a target finder. I'm thinking it would create a output readout of the targeted cores stats. Like wiring Shield % to screen. I may not know what I'm talking about here so please be gentle with me.

A possibility would be to give donators the ZPM tool. We did it on Drekens SB way back and it worked out really well. Non-donators had to create one with the generator or use a CAF fusion gen.

A second possibility would be to give donators a percentage based boost to core PG and CPU or something along those lines with the finite core resources.

Making certain CAP entities like Stargates and asgard transporters donator only.

Basically the objective is to find certain entities or tools that, from the point you spawn your ship, makes it more time consuming to get all your resources, or to make quick transport. (examples would be like making puddle jumpers donator only or as I said earlier, the ZPM's). Also making gas systems 3 donator only, GS3 makes everything much faster (almost instant).
